At Karm’s Kharm’s, we believe in celebrating young ladies who are using their voices and their hearts to make a difference. Avery is a shining example of what it means to lead with kindness, generosity, and compassion. Here’s what she has to say:
“ So about when I was six, my mom asked me if I could give some of my hair products to a foster mom for her foster child’s hair and from that experience I kept asking my mom can I help more people and she said how about we start a GoFundMe page. We were able to gather enough money to buy some bags, curly shampoo and conditioner, brushes and gel and donate them to a foster facility.
I just want to make sure that kids have what they need to look and feel their best.
I’m proud of being able to give away over 1,000 kits and give back to the community. It is so exciting to meet so many amazing kids who are doing projects to help in their own way. I would tell others that if you have an idea that will benefit someone else, don’t think twice about doing it- just go for it. We need more kindness in this world.”
